1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between The Micro Cementing Co ("we", "us", "our") and the client ("you", "your") regarding all services provided by us, including consultation, supply, and application of microcement products and related services.

By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Services

We offer the supply and installation of microcement finishes for domestic and commercial properties, including but not limited to walls, floors, bathrooms, and furniture surfaces.

All services are provided based on the agreed specifications detailed in the project quotation or contract.

3. Quotes & Orders

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

  • A booking is only confirmed once the quote is accepted in writing and a deposit is received.

  • Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed in writing and may incur additional costs.

4. Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit (typically 30%) is required to secure your booking.

  • The balance is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late payments may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.

5. Project Timeline

We aim to complete all works within the estimated timeframe. However, this may be affected by unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, access issues, or delays in material supply). We will communicate any changes as soon as reasonably possible.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide clear access to the worksite during agreed hours.

  • Ensure the working area is prepared in accordance with any pre-installation advice provided.

  • Notify us of any structural or environmental issues that could affect the installation (e.g. damp, movement, underfloor heating).

7. Warranty & Aftercare

  • Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the completion date.

  • Microcement is a hand-applied finish and may contain natural variations; this is not considered a defect.

  • Clients must follow the aftercare instructions provided. Damage due to improper care, cleaning, or usage is not covered under warranty.

8. Limitations of Liability

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the services.

  • We are not responsible for delays or failures resulting from events beyond our reasonable control.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • If you cancel within 7 days of the scheduled start date, additional charges may apply.

  • We reserve the right to cancel the contract if conditions at the property make it unsafe or impractical to continue.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, social media, and marketing materials (including photos of your completed project unless you explicitly opt out in writing) remains our intellectual property and may be used for promotional purposes.

11. Privacy

We collect and store your personal data only as necessary to deliver our services. We do not share your information with third parties except where required by law or as part of our service delivery.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
